I attended Virginia State University in Richmond, Virginia, in August 2009. I have always had a passion for helping others, so I went to school to pursue a career as a pediatrician. I obtained my Bachelor's in Science degree, concentrating in pre-medicine, in March 2013. While working on my Bachelor's degree, I became a member of The Betterment of Brothers and Sisters Incorporated, which focused on community service. In addition, I volunteered in numerous community activities helping children, adolescents, and the elderly such as Big Brothers Big Sisters, March of Dimes, 4H-Tutoring program, Habit for Humanity, and Upward Bound. I worked with various populations and cultures through my community service projects. My experiences influenced me to want to pursue a different career path upon graduation, which led me to pursue my Master's in Education, concentrating in Community Counseling. In 2014, I began the Master's program at Virginia State University and graduated in March 2016.

In 2014, I began working with children and adolescents with behavioral and mental health needs. This was the start of my Journey to become a Licensed Professional Counselor. In 2019, I became a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Virginia. I Specialize in working with children, adolescents, and adults with substance use issues, depression, anxiety, parenting, and co-occurring disorders. I am also a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor and Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor.
I want to meet each of his client's needs. In doing so, I use the following therapeutic approaches; person-centered, solution focus, reality theory, psycho-education, cognitive behavior therapy, humanistic approach, and behavioral theory. My motto is L.E.V.E.L.S, which stands for Leading, Elevating, Valuing, Everyone, Launching, Success. I believe that the only way to help others succeed in life is to mold, teach, and inspire them to be better than yesterday.

"Be The Change That You Want Don't Wait For It."
